BAS – Southern Ocean Studies

The Southern Ocean Studies are part of a series which aims to explore how scientific models & simulations can function as representations beyond their original contexts and purpose, as media with expressive, conceptual and critical potential.

The ocean current models used as the basis for the work described here, use data parameters specific to the dynamics of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current which is a major component of the Southern Ocean.
